It's hard to think of Family Matters without hearing the theme song "As Days Go By." The theme song was stuck in everyone's head and was a staple of Friday nights. But, interestingly enough, the original theme music was "What A Wonderful World" by the jazz trumpeter.

The song would be switched out after the fifth episode of the first season. However, Armstrong was still heard in the episode when it ran in syndication.

After her death in 2002, people realized that Mama Winslow was a bit older than people thought on Family Matters.
